EB Visa (Business Visa)
The EB visa, also known as Business Visa allows a foreigner to work in Cambodia. The holder can be employed as an employee, as an intern or can be a freelancer or a business owner. The EB Visa also applies to an employee’s spouse and children.
To qualify for a EB visa, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- The contract of employment is issued from a company based in Cambodia
- Valid passport
- Photograph size 3.5 x 4.5
Business Visa Extension
The EB Visa can be extended for 3, 6, or 12 months. Only the 6 and 12 month extension periods allow multiple-entries.
In order to extend Business Visa in Cambodia, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:
1. For employees, freelancers, intern or business owner:
- A stamped letter verifying their employment with a Cambodian company
- Photo size 3.5 x 4.5
- Valid passport
- Valid visa (not less than 10 days from expiration date)
2. Spouses and children of the EB visa holder:
- The visa-holder’s employment letter
- Proof of their relationship to the visa holder
- Photo size 3.5 x 4.5
- Valid passport
- Valid visa (not less than 10 days from expiration date)
3. Self-employed and have registered a business:
- A letter confirming their employment with the company’s stamp
- Photo size 3.5 x 4.5
- Valid passport
- Valid visa (not less than 10 days from expiration date)

EB Visa holders can stay up to 12 months in Cambodia.
• Is employment permitted?
A work permit is necessary to be legally employed under an EB Visa.
• Leaving an re-entering Cambodia
Only the EB Visa of 6 months or more allows multiple entries into Cambodia.
