The EG Visa is intended to foreign nationals seeking employment in Cambodia.
EG Visa Extension
The EG visa extension is designed for those seeking employment in Cambodia and can last 1, 3, or 6 months. If you have had a previous EB visa extension you probably will not be granted an EG visa, as they are not intended for expats who have already been in the country for a long term. The EG visa is only for first-time visitors to Cambodia.

EG Visa holders can stay up to 6 months in Cambodia.
• Is employment permitted?
Employment is not permitted under an EG Visa. The employee will have to apply for an EB Visa and a work permit to comply with the Cambodian law.
• Leaving and re-entering Cambodia?
The 6 month EG Visa is a single-entry visa, meaning that the holder cannot leave and re-enter Cambodia under the same visa.
