The Withholding Tax payment must be submitted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rd.go.th\/english\/index-eng.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Revenue Department<\/a> by the seventh of the following month.<\/p>\n<p>The following Withholding Taxes are imposed upon the remittance of profits from Thailand:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lenywinw-7ca148f15987644d60b0fcfdf11f1fd2'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><b>Dividends<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dividends are subject to a Withholding Tax at a rate of 10%. Double Tax Agreements between Thailand and certain countries may reduce this rate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, the Double Tax Agreement signed between Thailand and Taiwan reduces the Withholding Tax rate to 5% if the resident of Thailand holds at least 25% of the company&#8217;s capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-ley240z7-885038aeb479fb6dcf911cfd8324b3cf'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><b>Interest<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the remittance of interest payments abroad, Thailand imposes a 15% Withholding Tax.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Again, this rate can be reduced by any eligible Double Tax Agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that a 10% rate is levied on interest paid to a <a href=\"https:\/\/belaws.com\/thailand\/open-a-company-bank-account\/\">bank<\/a>, financial institution, or insurance company from the following countries:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Australia,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cambodia,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">China,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hungary,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finland,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malaysia,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laos and\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vietnam.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, and Japan apply a 0% rate if the interest is paid to a wholly government-owned financial institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-ley24cns-c9bcc31261d43ab70483a353b33c3356'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><b>Royalties<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Royalties are subject to a Withholding Tax of 15%.
