This digital certificate will be used to confirm the identity of the person or entity using the system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registration for the e-Customs system can be done by the company themselves, or through the use of an agent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To register for the e-Customs system the company is required to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install e-Customs software on the company systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Register with the Thai Customs office<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Test and check the e-Customs system is active and can be used by the company.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the registration procedure has been completed, the Communication and IT Bureau will issue an e-Customs registration ID to the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l9wi6pwf-23dcdee57610e10474269b38ab62e7db'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock h2_bleu_post'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h3>2 \u2013 Review controlled goods<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l9wi735k-74f723ae50474cc8437c8088b28671fa'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>As mentioned above, some goods and products are controlled and require additional permits to be obtained before they can be imported or exported. It is essential for companies to check with the Customs Department as to whether the goods they plan to import\/export requires a permit.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l9wi7ii7-49bb635a2dd7f3e9b2c819d92a4d5351'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><b>Red Line Goods\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thailand classifies red line goods as those which are considered to be high risk or require extra verification and certification.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is important to note that there is no definitive list of red line goods available. In order to establish whether goods can be classed as red line or not, a decision will be made upon application (more information about this can be found below in point 3).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Common examples of red line goods include food products, drinks and plants. If a business plans to import such goods they will need to be able to provide a number of supporting documents such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bill of Lading or Air Waybill<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Invoice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Packing list<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Import License<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certificates of origin<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other relevant documents (e.g. list of ingredients, technical standard certificates etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l9wi84cl-430b14f4180c12ec68494d67aa625e36'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><b>Exporting Red Line Goods\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a company plans to export red line goods, extra documentation such as the following will be required:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Invoice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Export License<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other relevant documents (e.g. food and drug administration approval, destination information etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l9wi8rp8-e9a9c8acc6c2d1bb4e5a44c67855ed53'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock h2_bleu_post'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h3>3 \u2013 Submission and verification of a declaration<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l9wi93ns-a79c34304f85db1fda240df2f178f86a'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock text_16'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All import\/export companies are required to submit an Import or Export Declaration. This declaration includes the following supporting documents:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">K1 application (pages 1 and 2)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy of the company affidavit (updated within six months)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two copies of value added tax certificate (Phor Phor 20)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy of first page of bank account and bank statement<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy of seal registration (BAJ 3)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy of passport<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Power of attorney (page 3 of the K1 application)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submission will identify whether the goods contained in the shipment are red line or green line.
