Thailand Elite Visa
The Thailand Elite is a long-term Visa program, which allows qualified members to remain in Thailand for periods of either 5, 10 or 20 years.
The Thailand Elite consists of seven different program choices, each with its own unique set of advantages, costs and periods of validity. Please note that the Thailand Elite program requires the payment of a membership fee.
What is a Thailand Elite?
The Thailand Elite Visa is a long-term Thai Visa offered by the Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited; a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.
The Thailand Elite program has been designed to attract affluent and high-earning foreigners to Thailand.
The Thailand Elite is a privilege entry Visa and offers an opportunity to obtain a long-term multiple entry Visa which grants the holder the right to live in Thailand for up to 20 years.
Thailand Elite holders are also granted special perks such as the right to use the Fast-Track Lanes at the airport, exclusive golf and spa packages and having Thailand Elite staff file the 90 Day Report on your behalf.

Depending on the program chosen, holders can stay in Thailand for 5, 10 or 20 years.

• 90 Day Reporting
If you stay in Thailand for >90 days, you must submit a 90 day report at the local Immigration Office. Thailand Elite staff can file your report on your behalf.
• Leaving and re-entering Thailand?
Thailand Elite Visas are multiple entry.
• Is employment permitted?
Holders of a Thailand Elite visa are not permitted to work.
• Further requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following the following:
- Have no overstay in Thailand.
- Be at least 20 years old
- Have no criminal history

How long does it take to receive a Thailand Elite Visa?
The whole process usually takes between 1 and 4 months.
What are the required documents?
The following documents are required:
- A photocopy of the information section of your passport (Passport must have 1 year of validity remaining).
- A high resolution scanned copy of any valid ID
- A duly-filled out application form.
- For immediate family (Core Members), a proof of relationship is required e.g. marriage certificate or a birth certificate.
These documents can be submitted through email, or hard copy can be sent via mail.
Can I open a Thai bank account?
Yes, it is possible for holders of a Thailand Elite Visa to open a bank account.
Can I bring my family to Thailand as dependents?
Yes it is possible as Thailand Elite offer programs which allow your family to come to Thailand as well.
Can I apply for a Thailand Elite Visa in Thailand as a tourist or on a Non-Immigrant O Visa/Extension?
Yes you can, however, any Non-Immigrant O Visas and Extensions of Stay will need to be cancelled before transferring to a Thailand Elite Visa.
Are there any restrictions to consider when applying for a Thailand Elite Visa?
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Applicants must have no overstay record in Thailand.
- Applicants must be at least 20 years old.
- Applicants must not have been sentenced by a judgment to imprisonment in any countries except for an offense committed to negligence.
- Applicants must not have ever been declared bankrupt.
- Applicants must not have been declared as a person of unsound mind, incompet, or quasi-incompet.
Can I leave and re-enter Thailand?
Yes, Thailand Elite Visas are a multiple entry Visa, therefore, you can enter and leave Thailand as many times as you like during the validity of your Visa.
