The LTR visa allows foreigners to remain in Thailand for up to ten years and a total of four dependents (such as spouse and children) may be granted a visa as well.

What is an LTR visa in Thailand?
The LTR Visa (Long Term Resident Visa) is a Thai government program designed to attract high-potential individuals to reside in Thailand for an extended period. It offers a 10-year visa with multiple re-entry permits and eliminates the need for 90-day reporting.
The LTR visa Thailand is available to the following 4 groups:
- Wealthy global citizens
- Wealthy pensioners
- Professionals working in Thailand

- Special Personal Income Tax (PIT) rate of 17% for highly skilled professionals. The current rate of PIT for normal employees is taxed at a progressive rate (from 5 to 35%).
- Tax exempted for overseas income.
- Permission to work in Thailand. Holders of the LTR will be eligible to receive a Digital Work Permit.
- Exempted from the employment requirement ratio for employers to hire four Thai citizens per foreigner (eligible for a highly skilled professional who works for a Thai company in Thailand which is endorsed in the targeted industries).
- Use of the Fast Track Service at qualifying airports.

The LTR visa will be valid for a period of 10 years.

The LTR is available to 4 different groups and each of these groups has its own different set of financial requirements to satisfy.
• 90 day reporting
Holders of the LTR visa do not need to submit 90 day reports. However, they will need to submit a report yearly.
• Leaving and re-entering Thailand
Multiple re-entry permits will be available for LTR holders.

Yes, a work permit is available to LTR holders.
